Metal Tube Fabrication Specialist

Position Summary
The role involves setting up, operating, or tending to machinery that forms, rolls, and shapes metal tubes with high precision. You will be responsible for interpreting job specifications to ascertain necessary machine adjustments and material needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage the operation of machines that fabricate metal tubes to exact specifications.
- Ensure that workpieces conform to established specifications.
- Align and fit components in accordance with specified guidelines.
- Manually position parts as required.
- Activate machinery using appropriate controls.
- Monitor machine operations to identify defects in workpieces or malfunctions in machinery.
- Measure dimensions of workpieces as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Exhibit punctuality, follow supervisory directions, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and adhere to workplace rules and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned or needed.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of one year of experience in machine operation or a combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in operating machinery and managing operational systems.
- Understanding of and adherence to standard operating and safety protocols.
- Ability to utilize basic hand tools and measurement instruments.
- Capability to read and comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
- Skill in handling, installing, and positioning materials.
- Competence in applying basic mathematical principles.
