We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Tube Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for supporting our operations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and assemble moderately complex tubing components for aerospace applications, adhering to precise specifications.
- Work independently on new projects with minimal supervision.
- Produce tubing assemblies according to work orders, technical drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Set up, operate, and maintain all machinery involved in the tubing fabrication process.
- Select appropriate mandrel and die sets based on material dimensions and wall thickness.
- Utilize roamer measuring arms to verify tube geometry.
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills for documentation and process management.
- Set up and operate tube cutting machinery.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, or scale from workpieces to ensure quality.
- Flare tube ends in accordance with specifications.
- Maintain safety standards throughout all operations.
- Install swage fittings and conduct pressure testing as required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates with prior aerospace industry experience.
