Position Summary
The role involves setting up, operating, or tending to machinery to execute fabrication tasks that include rolling and drawing metal products, ensuring adherence to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, or oversee machinery to carry out fabrication processes related to rolling and drawing metal products, maintaining exact tolerances.
- Utilize various machines such as punch presses, abrasive cut-off saws, grinders, band saws, and disc sanders to shape and form metal products according to defined standards.
- Adhere to technical guidelines, company protocols, and directives, or interpret specifications regarding size and shape.
- Align components manually using hand tools and/or portable powered tools as necessary.
- Identify deviations from specifications and seek assistance for necessary adjustments.
- Ensure that the finished products meet specifications and work orders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs as required.
- Keep the work environment clean and organized.
- Exhibit punctuality, follow supervisor instructions, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
Position Requirements
To succeed in this role, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this position:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Possess physical strength, good reflexes, and dexterity.
- Familiarity with production equipment and basic machinery, including but not limited to punch presses, cut-off saws, and grinders.
- Ability to read and comprehend traveler instructions.
- Demonstrate finger dexterity.

Compensation: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience, industry knowledge, education, and geographic location.
