The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication, with expertise in various materials and tooling.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating a variety of sheet metal machinery.
- Strong skills in blueprint interpretation and the ability to adhere to tight tolerances as specified in engineering documents.
- Knowledge of mathematics and trigonometry for accurate measurements and calculations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating precision sheet metal equipment such as shear, CNC Turret Punch Press, Punch Press, Press Brake, Spotwelder, Power Notcher, power roller, hydro press, resistance seam welder, expander, and assembly.
- Interpreting blueprints and following engineering specifications to fabricate parts with high dimensional accuracy.
- Independently managing jobs from setup to first article, ensuring quality throughout the process.
- Collaborating with team members to establish guidelines for sheet metal assembly production.
- Utilizing mathematical and trigonometric skills to execute various tasks effectively.
