TalenTPro Consulting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Aerospace Welding Technician to join our team. As a key member of our welding team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys.
- Determine layouts and weld parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and support multiple aerospace programs.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in welding, preferably in an aerospace environment.
- Ability to perform TIG welding on tubes of different alloys, including aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, and copper.
- Ability to weld aluminum down to a thickness of [insert thickness] and titanium down to a thickness of [insert thickness].
- Experience with chamber welding, turntable manual, and orbital welding.
- Ability to pass tests and become certified to weld.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
