Our Physicians Network team is a high-performing, fast-growing, and dynamic group of professionals dedicated to reshaping healthcare. With over 4,000 physicians working in 40+ cities throughout California, we care for more than 500,000 patients. About Your Work

As a Manager, Physician Network Development, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing growth strategies focused on physicians, medical groups, and community-based organizations. You'll work closely with our team of Physician Network Development Managers to drive incremental provider growth and expand our statewide network of care within California.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison to departments, including credentialing and contracting, to ensure contracted physicians are submitted appropriately.
  • Establish relationships with primary and specialty physicians in new and established markets to ensure provider network adequacy.
  • Support the team to prioritize provider targets, maintain outreach, and achieve contracted provider goals.
  • Assist leadership with market development opportunities to achieve company strategic objectives.
  • Smooth hand-off of customer service to our provider services team when the network transitions from development to operations.
  • Research and devise target lists of providers in new markets by specialty.
  • Support strategic growth goals by using market research and data to draft outreach plans for new and developing markets.
  • Present growth plans, provide timely updates, and reporting on progress.
  • Act as the department's subject matter expert for growth geographies and represent the department in internal meetings.
  • Maintain timely documentation of outreach efforts within our Customer Relationship Management (HubSpot) system.
  • Help execute the team's annual calendar of Provider Business Development events.
  • Work with Marketing and Communications departments to formulate and distribute strategic collateral for physician outreach purposes.

The Skills and Experience You Bring

  • Ability to work independently and with a team with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% in the field.
  • Collaboration with others to drive incremental provider growth.
  • Strong working knowledge of the primary care and specialty care physician market.
  • Experience in developing innovative solutions to achieve projected targets.
