Job Summary

The Commercial Credit Analyst II role at Bangor Savings Bank requires a highly skilled professional to work proactively with loan officers in preparing comprehensive written presentations of the Bank's existing and prospective business lending relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Spreads and independently analyzes complex financial statements, cash flow ability, etc., to develop an assessment of a borrower's credit risk.
  • Credit Assessment: Assesses the borrower's overall financial condition; details risks and mitigants; evaluates adequacy of repayment sources, including cash flow, leverage, collateral adequacy, and guarantor strength.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assesses compliance with regulatory guidelines and identifies exceptions to loan policy, and recommends appropriate risk ratings.
  • Loan Approval: Approves loans within assigned lending authority and makes recommendations to management for loans that have policy exceptions and exceed lending limits.
  • Client Service: Works to deliver superior client service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of commercial credit experience. Experience level will drive Position.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
