Role Overview
The Community Investments Officer at Evernorth plays a key role in guiding complex LIHTC transactions from development to investment closing, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with Evernorth's mission.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with external partners to create and maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities, analyzing prospective investments and completing due diligence, financial modeling, and analysis of LIHTC investments.
• Work with project sponsors to structure transactions and seek opportunities to improve projects, providing technical assistance as needed, and assisting in identifying opportunities to expand Evernorth's line of business prospects.
• Review financing and regulatory documents in collaboration with Director LIHTC Acquisitions, maintaining partner relationships and coordinating with LIHTC Risk Management team to ensure seamless customer service and responsiveness during project construction, lease up, and first year credit delivery.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required, with coursework in finance/banking, community development, business or real estate desired.
• Minimum three years recent syndication, underwriting, financial, or credit analysis experience, preferably in underwriting multifamily and/or commercial real estate, or operating/business loans for established banking institutions, community lending institutions, or private investment entities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to meet multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
