Job Description

The Commercial Credit Analyst II role at Bangor Savings Bank is a critical position that requires a high degree of expertise in commercial credit analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing credit risk, evaluating loan applications, and recommending credit decisions to management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and implement financial models to analyze complex financial statements and cash flow ability.
  • Credit Assessment: Assess the borrower's overall financial condition, detail risks and mitigants, and evaluate adequacy of repayment sources.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Identify exceptions to loan policy and recommend appropriate risk ratings.
  • Loan Approval: Approve loans within assigned lending authority and make recommendations to management for loans that have policy exceptions and exceed lending limits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of commercial credit experience. Experience level will drive Position.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
