About the Position

Northeast Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to support its loan underwriting and closing functions. As a member of our National Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending team, you will play a critical role in evaluating loan applications and making credit decision recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with a strong track record of performance and leadership. Prior banking experience in loan underwriting, asset management, and/or loan processing is preferred.

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, generous PTO, and a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications to ensure compliance with bank and SBA credit, eligibility, and risk standards.
  • Make credit decision recommendations to the SBA Credit Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Bank's LSP to address and resolve any credit, eligibility, or documentation issues.
  • Support efforts to respond to various portfolio management or audit inquiries.
