We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Technologist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Polysomnography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of polysomnographic procedures on patients with suspected sleep disorders.
Responsibilities:- Perform polysomnographic procedures on patients with possible injury and disease resulting in sleep disorders.
- Conduct multiple sleep latency tests, oxygen monitoring, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer CPAP and BiPAP ventilation as needed.
- Collect and analyze data to help diagnose and treat sleep disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved two-year Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Registry as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist.
- Current Ohio licensure or certification to practice respiratory care.
- Registered by the Association of Polysomnography Technologists or eligible for registration within 12 months.
