Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Specialist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of polysomnographic procedures on patients with suspected sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct polysomnographic studies on patients with suspected sleep disorders
  • Prepare patients for testing and perform the study
  • Collect and analyze data pertinent to the interpretation of test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep medicine and polysomnography
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved two-year Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Registry as Respiratory Therapist (or registry eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care) or Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist
  • Current Ohio licensure or certification to practice respiratory care (Respiratory Therapist only)
  • Registered by Association of Polysomnography Technologists or a technician eligible for registration within twelve months of employment as a Polysomnography Technologist
  • Current CPR certificate
  • One year's experience in Polysomnography
  • Proficient in computer operations/technology
