About the Role

Scheels is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team in the Footwear/Shoe Sales department. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, promoting our products, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow Personal Sales: Meet minimum sales goals and adhere to Scheels' professional salesmanship standards to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards Card: Clearly explain the benefits and promote the card to customers.
  • Engage with Customers: Engage in conversations with customers, assist them in making buying decisions, and provide product recommendations.
  • Attend Product Training and Store Meetings: Participate in all product training and store meetings to stay up-to-date on products and sales strategies.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist with freight/stocking when needed and demonstrate product usage within the shop.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, and/or 1-3 months of sales experience is required.

Physical Requirements

The ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation is required. Heavy work involves exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
