Position Overview
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for our seasonal **Poultry Handler** role, with opportunities to transition into our **Lawn and Garden** sections. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Managing the care of young poultry, including chickens, ducks, and turkeys.
- Stocking and merchandising products effectively.
- Protecting company assets and maintaining a clean work environment.
To excel in this role, you should be a team player who can manage multiple tasks while paying attention to detail. If you are a friendly and conscientious individual with a passion for providing outstanding service, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling poultry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to provide our guests with memorable experiences.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and team members.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to various responsibilities.
- Dependable and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet scheduling needs.
- Physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety standards and proper lifting techniques.
