About the Role

Scheels is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in the Footwear/Shoe Sales department. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, promoting our products, and meeting sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow Personal Sales: Meet minimum sales goals and adhere to Scheels' professional salesmanship standards to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards Card: Clearly explain the benefits of the card to customers and promote its use.
  • Engage with Customers: Engage in conversations with customers, assist them in making buying decisions, and provide expert product knowledge.
  • Attend Product Training and Store Meetings: Participate in all product training sessions and store meetings to stay up-to-date on products and company initiatives.
  • Support Store Operations: Assist with freight/stocking tasks as needed and demonstrate product usage in the store.

  • Customer Service: Treat coworkers, customers, and business partners with respect and professionalism, including maintaining eye contact, smiling, and expressing gratitude.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, and 1-3 months of sales experience is also beneficial.
