Team Shift Supervisor
A Team Shift Supervisor is an essential entry-level management role responsible for assisting the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the establishment. This position requires embodying the culture of Far West Services, LLC and being a collaborative team member who is enthusiastic about hard work, fostering a fun environment, and showing genuine commitment to the brand's success.

This is an exciting opportunity for entry-level leadership with potential for growth within the company. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills for your leadership journey and advancement to a General Manager role.
Qualifications/ Education/ Experience: Previous experience in food service, retail, or restaurant supervision is preferred but not mandatory. This is an entry-level management opportunity. Food Handler Certification will be required upon hiring. At least 6 months of experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Must adhere to restaurant operating policies and standards, including ensuring quality food products, effective cash handling, and maintaining safety and security protocols, with or without reasonable accommodation. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential, with or without reasonable accommodation. Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and/or holidays. Summary of Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities and essential functions include, but are not limited to: Acting with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Far West Services, LLC. Supporting the General Manager in achieving store objectives. Driving operational excellence by enhancing sales and managing labor and food costs during shifts. Ensuring a safe environment for both team members and guests; fostering a culture of respect, recognition, and reward within the restaurant. Maintaining composure during high-volume periods or unusual events to ensure the store operates to standard and to set a positive example for the team. Building positive relationships with team members by understanding and addressing their individual motivations, needs, and concerns. Willingness to assist in all other roles as needed. Delivering exceptional customer service by prioritizing guest needs and connecting with them effectively. Adhering to cash management policies and ensuring the shift team follows proper cash handling practices. Resolving minor guest issues efficiently and with a positive attitude. Maintaining operational standards and requirements; identifying and communicating maintenance issues to the appropriate department; ensuring all facilities meet company standards; facilitating communication from management to all team members. Utilizing company resources to coach, mentor, and develop team members to create a high-performing restaurant team; leveraging support from the Restaurant Support Center; ensuring compliance with risk management standards. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A guest service-oriented mindset with a genuine desire to serve. Ability to maintain a calm and tactful demeanor in challenging situations. Proficiency in managing multiple projects and timelines with urgency and follow-through. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities. Proven leadership skills with the capacity to manage, train, develop, and motivate a diverse team. Quick problem-solving skills and the ability to learn rapidly.
