Job Summary

At Hyatt Hotels, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Front Desk Staff: Hire, train, and develop a team of front desk agents to provide exceptional guest service and ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain Guest Service Standards: Ensure that all front office staff adhere to Hyatt's high standards of guest service, responding promptly to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage Cash Control and Financial Transactions: Oversee the handling of cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and security at all times.
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Collaborate with the hotel's management team to develop and implement operational plans that drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Manage Reservations and Room Inventory: Ensure that room inventory is optimized to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction, using suggestive selling techniques to upsell and cross-sell hotel services.
  • Handle Guest Complaints and Feedback: Respond promptly to guest complaints and feedback, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, setting a positive tone for the front office team and promoting a culture of excellence and guest service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a front office supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
