Position Summary:
The Night Auditor is tasked with managing hotel operations during the overnight hours, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately balanced while delivering exceptional customer service to guests. This role requires a dependable individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct end-of-day accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and balancing.
  • Efficiently and courteously process guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Prepare daily financial reports and verify their accuracy.
  • Monitor hotel security, ensuring the safety of all guests and staff during the night shift.
  • Respond to and resolve any emergency situations that may arise overnight.
  • Maintain precise records of financial transactions and perform audits as necessary.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.

Working Conditions:
This is an overnight position, typically from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or accounting is advantageous.

  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
