HR Initiatives Coordinator

We are currently seeking an HR Initiatives Coordinator who will operate in a flexible hybrid environment.

The HR Initiatives Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and is integral to the Human Resources team. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can adeptly manage HR projects, analyze HR metrics, facilitate effective communication among various teams and stakeholders, and execute high-level administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Support the planning, execution, and completion of HR-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

HR Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data regarding employment trends, compensation, and job roles.
  • Evaluate retention, turnover, and internal mobility statistics.
  • Report on essential recruiting metrics such as time to fill positions and associated hiring costs.
  • Assist in forecasting departmental costs and budget creation.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between HR and other departments to ensure seamless communication.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and keep all relevant parties updated on project developments.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain thorough documentation for all projects.
  • Prepare regular updates for the CHRO and stakeholders, outlining progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze employee survey feedback and performance evaluations to identify trends and areas for enhancement.

Resource Management:

  • Assist in the allocation and management of resources based on project needs.
  • Monitor team member availability and adjust project timelines as necessary.

Process Improvement:

  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of HR processes and systems by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
  • Ensure compliance of project activities with company policies and best practices.

Employee Engagement:

  • Plan and coordinate employee recognition initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing and delivering Town Hall meetings.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide high-level administrative assistance to the CHRO, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and handling confidential communications.
  • Support the preparation of executive presentations and reports.
  • Manage special projects as assigned by the CHRO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Coordinator capacity, preferably within an HR context.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience as an HR Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS).
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software, MS Office, and tools for executive support.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Skills:

  • Ability to convey technical information in non-technical terms.
  • Capability to summarize information succinctly in both written and visual formats.
  • Experience with statistical modeling and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, and employee benefits.
