Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Hazardous Materials Specialist to join our team at the U.S. Department of the Interior. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance on hazardous materials management and policy development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide authoritative expertise on hazardous materials management to the Department and BLM.
  • Lead the evaluation of issues, development of options, and analysis for program decisions affecting policy areas.
  • Serve as the senior technical and policy authority for hazardous materials management, integrating various aspects of the discipline into related policy areas.
  • Analyze, formulate, and develop budget requests to the Department and Congress for hazardous materials management.
