HR Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive HR Operations Specialist to become a part of our organization. This position plays a vital role in managing and streamlining HR functions, ensuring the integrity of data, and delivering outstanding HR support.

As an HR Operations Specialist, you will assist with HR administration, support HR systems, and engage in the ongoing enhancement of our HR practices.

You will collaborate closely with staff and supervisors, aiding the HR department with various initiatives and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Functions & Support: Serve as the primary resource for HR functions, including employee data modifications, HRIS/data management, and job transitions. Efficiently manage routine and complex HR transactions and escalate issues as necessary.

Project Coordination: Assist in HR initiatives by providing project coordination support, including scheduling, communication, project monitoring, and task execution.

Compliance & Record Management: Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures, manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately, and maintain precise employee records.

Employee Engagement: Organize and support employee engagement activities and respond to HR inquiries from staff and supervisors promptly and professionally.

Health & Safety: Assist in health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Your Role / Job Duties

Maintain comprehensive employee files, including records of all onboarding materials and documents related to employment.

For instance:
performance evaluations, employment verifications, I-9 forms, etc....

Process terminations and file documents appropriately.

Plan and coordinate orientation for new hires.

Conduct or assist with record audits and mandatory reports (e.g., I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings).

Support the HR Director with corrective actions and compliance reviews.

Onboard all new hires, including tracking and auditing all required new hire documentation.

Coordinate Privileging and Credentialing (P&C) for Providers.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.

A minimum of one to two years of experience in a human resources capacity, preferably within the healthcare sector.

Experience with HRIS (such as ADP) or other HR applications is highly preferred.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, professional demeanor.

Work Location(s): Multiple locations

Hours per week: 40 Non-Exempt Full time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Benefits:


All regularly scheduled employees working at least 32 hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits; those working 24-31 hours per week will receive prorated benefits.

Earned time (15 days in your first year, 20 days in your second year, pro-rated by FTE). This includes paid sick, vacation, and personal time
