**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Consultant to join our team at Union City Mitsubishi. As a Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Customer Service**: Greet customers promptly and provide a positive first impression of our dealership.
  • **Vehicle Information**: Obtain and verify customer and vehicle information to ensure accurate and efficient service.
  • **Symptom Reporting**: Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
  • **Maintenance Recommendations**: Determine and recommend necessary maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • **Estimate Preparation**: Prepare complete and accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction.
  • **Follow-up**: Establish follow-up times to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
  • **Progress Monitoring**: Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently to ensure transparency and trust.
  • **Invoice Verification**: Verify that final invoices reconcile with work performed on the repair order to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • **Explanation of Work**: Explain all completed work and charges to customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction.

**Requirements**

  • **Experience**: Minimum 1-year experience in a service advisory role preferred but not required.
  • **Knowledge**: Knowledge of automobiles and their systems.
  • **Attitude**: Positive attitude and high volume mentality.
  • **CSI Focus**: Focus on Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • **Driver's License**: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • **Background Check**: Pass a Background, Drug, and MVR Check.
