Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Heritage Volkswagen. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling new and pre-owned vehicles to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, listen to their requirements, and match their vehicle needs with our inventory.
  • Accompany customers on test drives, demonstrate vehicle features and technology, and build rapport to establish a base of referrals and a customer network.
  • Continuously develop product and sales knowledge to become a vehicle authority and stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
  • Know the ins and outs of inventory, optional packages, and the latest technologies to effectively overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and creative ideas, and complete all paperwork to close deals and deliver vehicles to customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous successful automotive sales experience is a plus, but sales experience in any field is also considered. We will provide training to ensure your success.
  • Professional appearance, customer-focused attitude, self-starter mentality, and ambitious spirit.
  • Great communication skills with customers and team members, and a strong computer and phone skills (Internet, CRM).
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, and a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen.
