We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit on a part-time basis, working weekends and nights. As a valued member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

About the Role

This 30-bed Medical/Surgical Unit cares for patients with a variety of conditions, including GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, with Patient Care Associates on the floor to assist. Our team's core values are teamwork and accountability, and you will find a sense of belonging on our team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Certifications and Training

We require:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
  • Other unit-specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe
