Tri-City Electric Co. is actively looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential for providing both administrative and technical assistance on various construction initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Coordinator, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within financial constraints, and meet the quality expectations of our clients.
  • Assisting in the research and documentation related to the procurement of significant equipment packages.
  • Monitoring the progress and compliance of all subcontractors involved in the projects.
  • Supporting the management of all owner-furnished equipment, including scheduling and direction.
  • Facilitating the logistics concerning the delivery and storage of major materials.
  • Providing administrative support for tracking and logging all necessary information within Procurement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Commissioning activities under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in various areas, including procurement, purchasing, subcontract agreements, and equipment tracking.
  • Helping to monitor the project schedule effectively.
  • Gathering documentation for field testing and owner acceptance.
  • Assisting in the preparation of close-out documents.
  • Tracking and scheduling final punch list items.
  • Collaborating with PMAs to submit appropriate documentation for projects.
  • Supporting the shop drawing review process.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Construction Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it upon hire.

Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, tact, and consideration, along with a focus on accuracy. Essential qualities include solid communication skills, positive initiative, sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, business acumen, and organizational skills.
