Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Engineer to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. As a Scheduling Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting regional field teams with the use of our scheduling standard practices, creating and reviewing schedules, and facilitating collaborative preconstruction planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist regional field teams in implementing our scheduling standard practices.
  • Create and review schedules for project teams during the project proposal stage.
  • Facilitate collaborative preconstruction planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Work cooperatively with the Data Analytics team to track and monitor schedule health across operations.
  • Display leadership qualities by setting a good example of behavior.
  • Act as a resource to project construction teams.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Designers, Pre-Construction, Project Managers, and Field Managers.
  • Travel for projects as needed throughout the year (up to 50%).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling and planning systems, and fluency with MS Project and familiarity with Primavera (P6) or 4D scheduling software.
  • Understanding of field operations and building construction techniques.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and excellent oral and communication skills in individual and group settings.
  • Positive attitude and self-starter qualities.
