Position Summary:

The Chief Workforce Officer serves as a pivotal leader dedicated to enhancing the overall workforce, cultivating a positive culture, and improving the employee experience while managing essential HR functions.   6. Independent Functioning: Capability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while effectively planning and executing necessary tasks.
  7. Resource Awareness: Knowledge of available resources within the health center to meet patient needs.
  8. Cost-Conscious Care: Commitment to providing healthcare that is efficient, effective, patient-centered, and culturally competent.
  9. Compliance: Adherence to HIPAA policies and procedures regarding personal health information.

Program-Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Workforce Planning:
    • Forecasting future talent and skills requirements.
    • Developing workforce and talent acquisition strategies.
    • Preparing for changes in industry and labor market dynamics.
  2. Talent Management:
    • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
    • Implementing strategies for employee retention.
    • Enhancing performance management systems.
    • Leadership development and succession planning.
  3. Employee Experience:
    • Creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
    • Encouraging collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being.
    • Improving overall employee satisfaction and productivity.
  4. People Operations:
    • Managing HR teams and policies/programs.
    • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
    • Developing HR workflows, systems, and analytics.
  5. Digital and Operational Transformation:
    • Designing human capital management capabilities within ERP systems.
    • Creating employee self-service experiences in ERP.
    • Collaborating on the selection and deployment of enterprise resource planning platforms.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet one of the following educational and experiential combinations:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business administration, or organizational development.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, workforce strategy, or organizational planning.
  • Leadership experience in overseeing HR teams and managing organizational change.
  • Hands-on experience with HR operations, including policies and systems.
  • Advisory experience to executives on strategic workforce planning and people management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts.
