About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Receptionist to join our administrative team on a contract basis. As an On-Call Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless front desk operations during periods when the primary Receptionist is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests and visitors
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, managing conference room bookings, and preparing meeting rooms
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and couriers
  • Provide administrative support including photocopying, faxing, filing, and data entry as required
  • Support the coordination of office events and meetings
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, covering for the primary Receptionist as needed
