HR Administrative Support Specialist

At L. A. Fuess Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled HR Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide critical administrative support to our HR team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform onboarding and orientation of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Verify I-9 documentation, complete forms, and follow through with updates as required, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Update employee records, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees on HR matters, including benefits, policies, procedures, and general inquiries.
- Assist in planning and execution of special events, such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Support the coordination and execution of various HR and recruiting projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Serve as backup coverage for the reception desk during absences and emergencies, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR role, with 2+ years of Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
- Basic HR knowledge, including onboarding and benefits, with A/E/C industry experience a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with tact and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking, with the ability to work independently.
