Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Business Manager to join our team at Alkermes. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our products in the North Shore MA territory and supporting promotional efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Utilize your sales skills and product knowledge to increase sales and market share in the North Shore territory.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Alkermes products, related disease states, and market trends.
  • Territory Management: Identify and call on healthcare provider targets to increase product usage and sales.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks in a timely, accurate, and truthful manner.
  • Fiscal Control: Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses.
  • Collaboration: Work productively with individuals in related positions, including other representatives, District Business Leader, RMDs, Marketing, and Key Accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS required.
  • Experience: 2+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required.
  • Location: Must live within the geography of responsibility.
  • Credentials: Must be able to demonstrate or secure appropriate credentialing for physical access to healthcare provider facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience preferred.
  • Specialty Sales Experience: Preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated superior organizational and administrative skills.
  • Past Sales Performance: Demonstrated past sales performance/success.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, strategic, and influencing skills.
