Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Permanent Sales Representative to join our Culinary Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a culinary background, a love for food, and a knack for sales.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned territory and target market segments of the culinary industry.
  2. Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and tailor product presentations to those needs.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to showcase the quality and versatility of our culinary products.
  4. Establish and maintain positive business relationships with decision-makers in prospective and existing client organizations.
  5. Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates to the management team.
  6. Attend industry events, such as trade shows and food festivals, to promote our brand and products.
  7. Work closely with the culinary team to understand product details and benefits, as well as any upcoming product developments.
  8. Provide feedback from customers to the product development team to help shape the future direction of our product offerings.
Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales role within the culinary or food service industry.
  2. A culinary background, such as a degree in culinary arts or significant experience in a professional kitchen.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  4. Strong understanding of the culinary industry, including trends, challenges, and key players.
  5. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
  6. Experience in conducting product demonstrations and tastings.
  7. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  8. Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  9. Self-motivated and results-driven with a high level of resilience and tenacity.
  10. Passion for food and an understanding of different culinary techniques and cuisines.
