We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Permanent Sales Representative to join our Culinary Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a culinary background, a love for food, and a knack for sales.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned territory and target market segments of the culinary industry.
- Engage with potential customers to understand their business needs and tailor product presentations to those needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to showcase the quality and versatility of our culinary products.
- Establish and maintain positive business relationships with decision-makers in prospective and existing client organizations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates to the management team.
- Attend industry events, such as trade shows and food festivals, to promote our brand and products.
- Work closely with the culinary team to understand product details and benefits, as well as any upcoming product developments.
- Provide feedback from customers to the product development team to help shape the future direction of our product offerings.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales role within the culinary or food service industry.
- A culinary background, such as a degree in culinary arts or significant experience in a professional kitchen.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the culinary industry, including trends, challenges, and key players.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
- Experience in conducting product demonstrations and tastings.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a high level of resilience and tenacity.
- Passion for food and an understanding of different culinary techniques and cuisines.
