Job Summary

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Production department at the Fillmore Charlotte. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a positive and creative environment for the Production team and Venue, while also providing exceptional customer service to artists and venue staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation of all production-related activities, including stage, sound, and lighting crews.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager to schedule staff and maintain labor costs within budgetary guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules, inventory, and maintenance logs to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Buyer to advance technical and hospitality details for shows and events.
  • Oversee the maintenance of audio, lighting, backline, and video systems, and advise on repairs when necessary.
  • Ensure the safe and consistent operation of all equipment.
  • Attend production and operations meetings as outlined by the General Manager.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and follow Purchase Ordering Systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in production management, preferably in an entertainment venue.
  • Strong understanding of stage lighting, pro audio systems, and video systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and make clear, concise decisions.
  • Computer literacy in Windows applications, including Excel and Word.
  • College degree preferred.

Physical Demands/Working Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Moderate to loud noise level in the work environment.
