Exciting Career Opportunity - Director of Chemical Sales -

We are seeking a highly experienced and successful Chemical Sales Leader to drive business growth in the U.S. as our client, a global trader and distributor, looks to expand its presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement domestic sales and supply chain functions to drive business growth.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current customers, identify and develop new customers and suppliers, and conduct due diligence on prospective customers.
  • Analyze market conditions and identify new sources for sales lead generation.
  • Attend global conferences to gain knowledge and professional recognition, and build and strengthen customer and sales agent relationships.
  • Meet with and negotiate competitive long-term sales contracts with key customers.
  • Supervise, direct, mentor, coach, and train other sales personnel.
  • Regular domestic travel to meet customers and sales agents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of Chemical Sales experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and track record of success in commodity chemical sales and managing a sales team.
  • Experience with chemical products including Glycols, Solvents, Monomers, Surfactants, Plasticizers, Chemical Intermediates.

Compensation:

Salary range $160K - $180K, target bonus 25% & benefits.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
