About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Program Management to lead the development and implementation of our Breakpack system. This is a critical and strategic product for Symbotic, and we need a seasoned professional to guide its launch and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as program and product owner for Breakpack, ensuring its successful rollout and commercialization.
  • Leverage your systems integration background to learn Breakpack processes and create and refine processes for future installations.
  • Work on-site to coordinate the integration of the latest version of the Breakpack system across multiple engineering and installation teams.
  • Gather data from all facets of the implementation process and use it to inform decisions about engineering quality and implementation procedures.
  • Work effectively with key stakeholders, including customers, sales, engineering, and customer implementation teams, to ensure alignment with customer needs and overall business objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 12 years' experience managing a large, complex program with a focus on automation solutions for distribution or manufacturing facilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership with a hands-on approach, ensuring practical and efficient solutions.
  • Success building and managing a highly talented, diverse team, with experience coaching and developing others.
  • Strong customer orientation, with the ability to inspire trust through your own actions.
  • Experience with PLC and controls systems is helpful but not required.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, MS preferred.
