About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Manufacturing team at Ford Motor Company. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for manufacturing facilities, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical installations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement electrical installation plans and procedures to ensure efficient and safe installation of electrical systems.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect electrical installations and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or equivalent certifications.
  • Practical experience in industrial settings or equipment installation.
  • Strong project management skills, specifically with management of installation contractors.
  • Ability to develop timing and work plans and coordinate activities for building infrastructure and equipment installation across multiple organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Desire to develop a diverse skillset, including air handling, contamination elimination and prevention, power distribution, foundations, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent certifications.
  • 3D CAD review abilities, ability to read 2D blueprints and construction drawings.
