Key Responsibilities

Clinical Technicians at Fast Pace Health provide essential clinical and administrative support to ensure effective patient care under the guidance of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant. They are responsible for delivering exceptional patient service while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming environment, responding promptly to changes in patient conditions or treatment responses.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Adhering to Federal and State regulations, including a solid understanding of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
  • Preparing examination and treatment areas for patient intake.
  • Triage patients by measuring vital signs, performing blood draws, and administering injections.
  • Monitoring patients, documenting, and reporting any changes in their conditions, including adverse reactions to treatments.
  • Conducting federal and non-federal DOT, BAT, and drug screening examinations.
  • Assisting with laboratory testing and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Maintaining supplies and equipment for treatments and assisting providers with minor procedures and physical exams.
  • Supporting patients in utilizing Virtual Medicine services.
  • Coordinating referrals to specialists and obtaining pre-authorizations as directed.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of patient documentation and forwarding charts as necessary.
  • Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the office to support a professional environment.
  • Providing clinical and administrative support while adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues to maintain a constructive work atmosphere.
  • Promoting and maintaining confidentiality within the workplace.
  • Completing all mandatory compliance training to understand company regulations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Experience Requirements:

Medical Assistant:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinic setting focused on Primary Care.

Nurse (LPN or RN):

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN/RN, preferably in a clinic setting focused on Primary Care.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or its equivalent.

License Requirements:

No specific license required; however, certifications such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License, Registered Nurse (RN) - State or Compact License, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - State or Compact License, Full Scope X-Ray Technologist State License, or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant are preferred.
