We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our team at US Renal Care. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients with renal failure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and comfortable dialysis treatment to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.
- Conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.
- Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments, clean and disinfect machines after treatment, and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor patients during treatment, gather patient stats before and after treatment, and collect patient blood samples per physician orders.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors and be comfortable with mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
- Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national commercially available certification program within 18 months of hire date and maintained in good standing thereafter.
