Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our ACV Capital team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a structured approach to developing new business in a defined territory.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of success in the dealer floorplan industry. You will be responsible for prospecting, underwriting, and contracting new and existing business opportunities, as well as providing credit analysis and reviewing inventory audits.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within a defined market
- Build prospect list through effective cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals
- Ensure continued follow-up during onboarding and service accounts in person and via phone, resolving customer issues and looking for incremental growth opportunities
- Utilize Salesforce on a daily basis for reporting and tracking purposes
- Hit target levels in new applications, signed contracts, and line activations and utilization ratios
- Responsible for initial underwriting of potential customers
- Develop a strong relationship with ACV Auctions' Regional Managers, Territory Managers, and Vehicle Condition Inspectors
- Manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes while maintaining ongoing attention to detail
- 4-year/Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
- 3 years of prior work experience in the auto or financial services industry
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Working knowledge in various inventory finance software programs
- Experienced in the analysis of automobile dealer financial statements, tax returns, PFS, and various other finance and banking statements
- Experience in using a CRM software (preferably Salesforce) to maintain and plan sales pipeline
- Working knowledge of all ACV Auctions products and services
- Experienced sales manager in developing new territories in the dealer floorplan industry
- Self-starter with the drive and organizational skills to effectively cover a large geographic territory
- Ability to conduct an initial underwriting of potential customers prior to submitting an application
- Working knowledge of business accounting/financial statement concepts, procedures, and processes used in the automotive commercial industry
- $80,000 to $85,000 annually
- Additional compensation pursuant to ACV's incentive compensation plan
