Job Overview

**Key Responsibilities:**

Exhibit proficiency in various systems including controls, electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, and pneumatic.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of maintenance methodologies and practices.

Execute Preventative Maintenance on machinery in alignment with OEM specifications.

Conduct electrical diagnostics on machinery, fixtures, and tools.

Prioritize and complete maintenance tasks with efficiency, addressing work orders based on urgency and significance.

Maintain precise documentation of work orders within the maintenance management platform.

Promptly report any machinery downtime, potential concerns, or irregularities to the maintenance management team.

Operate diverse equipment such as cranes, hoists, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and standard power tools.

Ensure a safe and orderly work environment by following established protocols and regulations.

Collaborate with fellow technicians, engineers, maintenance supervisors, and technical support personnel to troubleshoot and resolve intricate mechanical issues.

Assist in project initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Make adjustments and corrections to machinery to enhance operational efficiency.

**Required Qualifications:**

Ability to successfully complete drug screenings, background checks, and pre-employment assessments.

High school diploma or equivalent certification.

3-5 years of experience in maintenance support roles.

1-2 years of experience in electrical diagnostics.

Journeyman status or equivalent in a specific trade skill (e.g., millwright, ironworker, electrician).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.

5-7 years of experience in maintenance support roles.

3-5 years of experience in electrical diagnostics.

**Skills and Competencies:**

Commitment to all safety regulations.

Proficient in utilizing electrical instruments such as multimeters, voltage testers, and infrared thermometers.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Operate and proactively maintain designated machinery as required.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Strong teamwork capabilities.

Flexibility in work environment and tasks, with availability for overtime.

Physical capability to operate equipment, lift loads, climb ladders, wear a respirator, and perform demanding labor.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes in assembly, fabrication, and painting.

Self-motivated and self-directed.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

**Physical Requirements:**

Flexible schedule required, including potential 12-hour shifts and availability for weekend work.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, frequently move up to 35 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Capability to engage in continuous physical activities, including fine and large motor movements.

Ability to grasp small items, reach out and up, and rotate wrist.

Must maintain pace with production speed and exert reasonable force when pushing/pulling.

Ability to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and stand for extended durations.

Must work in varying environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and dusty settings.
