Technical Support Specialist

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional technical support for desktop services, ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality solutions.
Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Desktop Services Engineer who can hit the ground running and take on Tier II operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to desktop environments, printers, mobile devices, and Citrix software.
The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge of Active Directory and experience with SCCM, including pushing packages and imaging computers through Pixieboot. They should also be able to differentiate between hardware and software issues and navigate Active Directory to move computers between organizational units.
The work environment is dynamic, with a team of 12-15 technicians nationally and a local team of three techs plus a manager. You will work closely with the local team and collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues. This role requires 100% onsite presence due to the nature of the work.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong knowledge of desktop environments, including O365, AD, SCCM, Win7/10, and Citrix
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Ability to navigate Active Directory and move computers between organizational units
- Skills in pushing packages and imaging computers through Pixieboot
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
