This is a part-time position with the potential to increase to full-time. In collaboration with the Clinical Director and CEO, the Business Development Specialist presents a positive and professional public image of the clinic within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business development programs in consultation with the Clinical Director and CEO.
  • Maintain a schedule of primary sources of mental health referral contacts and document these contacts within our database.
  • Maintain current account information and business development referral/admission records and statistics, including the preparation of business development reports and materials.
  • Develop and maintain new account relationships and markets with referral sources, targeting and creating new strategies for increasing business in highly competitive markets.
  • Represent the facility at professional functions and communicate the mission in all outreach interactions, acting as a liaison between the clinic, referral sources, and the general public to further the goals and positive, professional image of the clinic.
  • Manage leads from referral sources and ensure an efficient admissions process for clients.
  • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with intake and management team.
  • Maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement.
  • Attend management meetings to provide timely reports and maintain a working knowledge of the intake processes.
