Waystone Health and Human Services is seeking a seasoned leader to join our Executive Team as the Chief Program Operations Officer. This key role will oversee the Program Services team and lead key departments within the agency, driving strategic growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise the Program Services Team and other management positions as assigned
- Ensure continued sustainability of program services and growth of existing services and development of new services
- Direct and ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and accreditation processes
- Direct and approve the preparation and modification of department budgets, ensuring positive financial performance
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding and referral sources, peer organizations, and other key community stakeholders
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Business, Public Health, or Human Services is strongly preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field is required
- Minimum of 10-12 years of business management experience at the senior level across a range of business disciplines, preferably in human service delivery, working with individuals with disabilities, and other life challenges
- Strong business acumen and experience with operational processes; experience managing budgets
- Experience managing in a union environment is preferred
- Proficiency in related technology platforms
- The ability to think strategically, listen well, and communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
- Must have strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to build trust among a wide range of constituents
- Knowledge of state funding agency systems, policies, and regulations
- Valid Drivers License with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience
