As a Sales Account Manager at Michael Page, you will play a pivotal role in driving business expansion efforts with both new and existing clients in the dynamic field of additive manufacturing. Based in upstate New York or the greater Northeast region, this high-growth opportunity offers a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage an extensive client database to identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strategic sales initiatives.
  • Develop and execute plans to expand market presence and reach within the designated region, fostering strong client relationships and aligning solutions to address unique manufacturing requirements.
  • Conduct impactful technical demonstrations, showcasing manufacturing capabilities to potential clients and navigating the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and successful closure.
  • Collaborate with program management teams to ensure project execution, meeting client expectations, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in advanced/complex manufacturing sectors such as Rapid Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Sheet-Metal, Injection Molding.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales within related fields.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools to manage and track leads.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences as required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $80k-$100k and a performance-based commission structure. The company provides comprehensive health benefits, enrollment in a 401(K) retirement savings plan, and generous company matching.
  • The estimated OTE is $160-180k.
