Role Summary:
The Commercial Lending Sales Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional customer and financial services while embodying the "IBC Experience." This role involves addressing customer needs through the promotion of bank products and services, establishing new connections, and enhancing sales opportunities. It presents a significant opportunity for a career-driven individual.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to deliver the IBC Experience.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable bank products and services.
  • Assist clients with account-related inquiries, including account establishment or closure, product information, and transaction questions.
  • Facilitate fund transfers and communicate with clients regarding their accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the bank's system.
  • Support the International Officer with loan collections, overdrafts, and account management.
  • Assist in the origination and servicing of deposit accounts and loans, ensuring compliance with bank policies.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Sales Associate II and Commercial Lending Officer in managing loan and deposit portfolios.
  • Meet customer financial needs by promoting products and services through the Referral Program.
  • Handle confidential customer information with discretion.
  • Participate in meetings, events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Strong customer service orientation and goal-driven mindset.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred for border markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Effective time management and instructional abilities.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
