Key Responsibilities of the HVAC Sales Manager:

As an HVAC Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling industrial-sized heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to commercial clients. Your role will involve identifying optimal equipment output and efficiency to align with building specifications and interior requirements. You will ensure that the climate control and ventilation solutions provided are both cost-effective and tailored to the specific needs of the facility.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with construction managers or managing contractors on new commercial constructions or renovations. The contractor will outline the design specifications and climate requirements, and you will be tasked with delivering a competitive proposal for equipment and installation. Utilizing advanced calculations related to airflow and aerodynamics, you will determine the most suitable HVAC systems, taking into account not only the primary machinery—such as air conditioners, heat pumps, chillers, and exhaust systems—but also the configuration of ductwork, blowers, vents, and other essential components to meet the design specifications.

Qualifications for the HVAC Sales Manager:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance the adoption of HVAC solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Deliver tailored solutions and designs based on customer specifications.
  • Establish a loyal customer network to drive market penetration.
  • Prepare detailed proposals aligned with the project's technical requirements.
  • Experience in HVAC, controls, and industrial fabrication; a commercial background is advantageous.
