Sales Support Specialist

Job Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Managing Director, Sales Team, Strategic Accounts Team, and Design to deliver product specifications, visual aids, pricing proposals, and essential sales assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Support Specialist will concentrate on the following areas on a daily basis:
Administrative Duties
- Serve as the liaison between the Managing Director and team members/clients
- Participate in the Culture Committee, organizing and executing meetings/events within budgetary constraints
- Manage inventory and order supplies for kitchen, office, janitorial, and printing needs from vendors
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Customer Experience Center
- Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and upkeep
- Facilitate internal communications, including distributing information and scheduling presentations
Client Engagement:
Organize showroom tours, industry events, etc. (preparation, availability during events, and post-event cleanup)
Preparation for Internal Gatherings:
Organize vendor presentations, team meetings, and other internal events
Library Management:
Order product samples and collaborate with vendors to keep resources updated
Reception Duties
- Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate locations as needed
- Take messages and locate employees for urgent matters
- Welcome guests; offer refreshments and guide them to meeting areas
- Prepare conference rooms for calls, including catering and necessary materials
- Manage employee and guest parking arrangements
- Process daily mail, including invoices, correspondence, and samples
- Utilize shipping accounts for sending samples and documents
- Occasionally receive shipments of small furniture items at the Customer Experience Center
- Assess client requirements and assist in product specifications
- Support the creation of presentations, including visual aids
- Gather pricing quotes from vendors and assist in preparing budgetary summaries
- Prepare quotes for client presentations
- Manage the logistics of sample pickups and deliveries
- Assist with order entry into the system
- Help create and maintain client project standards and finish schedules
- Follow established company policies and procedures
- Track work hours using the designated system, aiming for a high percentage of direct project hours
- Participate in training sessions for products and software
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Attend company meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Outgoing personality with a focus on sales
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficient in technology, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
