Job Summary

The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring quality and consistency in all meals. This role will also contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring quality and consistency in all meals.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety, adhering to all health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create special event menus and ensure a delightful dining experience for residents.
Requirements
  • Two (2)+ years' experience as a Sous Chef or other kitchen leadership position.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Montgomery County Food Manager's Certificate or willing to obtain.
What We Offer
  • Full Time, 40 hours weekly.
  • Enjoy every other weekend & every other holiday off.
  • Starting at $28.00/hour.
