Job Summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Environmental Management Systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing technical guidance on environmental issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Management
    • Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce environmental impacts and improve sustainability.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and laws.
    • Identify and mitigate environmental risks associated with company operations.
    • Develop and implement procedures to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Project Management
    • Manage environmental projects from conception to completion.
    • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor a team of environmental professionals.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in environmental management, compliance, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing environmental management systems.
    • Experience with environmental regulations and laws.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and laws.
    • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
