Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer or Geologist to join our team in Bellevue, WA. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for managing large and complex projects, providing technical leadership, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage large and complex projects, including remediation, investigation, monitoring, facility compliance, permitting, process, and other environmental activities.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Management: Maintain and grow existing client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business and developing proposals to secure new work.
  • Field Work: Manage a variety of field work, including environmental assessments, investigations, site inspections, feasibility tests, remedial implementation, and subcontractor oversight.
  • Proposal Development: Develop proposals that result in the award of new work with clients.
  • Financial Management: Manage project finances, ensuring that projects are profitable and that financial targets are met.
  • Team Leadership: Build and strengthen team and staff through engagement, mentorship, and leadership.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience, Environmental or Civil Engineering from an accredited university required, Master's preferred.
  • License: Washington Licensed Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer.
  • Experience: 7-20 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on investigation and remediation projects.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of Washington State and Federal environmental regulations (MTCA, RCRA, etc.).
  • HAZWOPER Certification: 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate with an up-to-date 8-hour annual refresher course certification.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and outstanding oral and written communication skills.
