Position Overview:
TRC is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team. This role will involve collaboration with Client Managers and project teams to conduct environmental assessments, compliance evaluations, and remediation efforts. We seek a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is eager to contribute to a dynamic and high-achieving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including project proposals, reports, and work plans.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
  • Guide project teams through site assessments, investigations, and remedial strategy development.
  • Oversee field operations, including environmental assessments and inspections.
  • Develop proposals to secure new project opportunities.
  • Manage project finances to ensure profitability.
  • Foster team development through mentorship and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer or Geologist license in Washington State.
  • 7-20 years of experience in environmental consulting, particularly in investigation and remediation.
  • Familiarity with Washington State and Federal environmental regulations.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with current refresher training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
